Claude, Cursor, and any other app that supports MCP. The connection uses a key you generate on the MCP tab of your Snowball Analytics profile, together with the server address shown on the same tab. Step-by-step configuration for each app is in the help article.
What can the AI see, and can it change anything in my portfolio?
It can read the portfolio data you already keep in Snowball Analytics — holdings, transactions, dividends, allocation, performance and goals — and nothing else. It is read-only: nothing can be bought, sold, added or edited from a chat. You can regenerate or delete the key at any time, which stops access immediately.
Is my portfolio data used to train AI models?
What is sent is anonymized. Snowball Analytics does not use it to train models. In Claude, Cursor or another app, whether the conversation is used for training depends on that app's own settings.
What plan do I need?
